Mountain bikes worth £8,000 stolen from shed

THIEVES broke into a garden shed in the county and stole four high-quality bicycles.

The theft took place overnight between Friday and Saturday at an address in London Road, Larkfield, near Maidstone.

The mountain bikes - a blue Marin, a Cinelli Unica, a Commencal Meta and an Airbourne Liberator - are worth around £8,000, according to police.

Police say the shed door was forced after the thieves had got into the garden through an insecure gate.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 01732 379217 and Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
