This picture was taken by a reader at the scene of a rush hour accident.

Police were called to the M2 near the Medway Bridge last night after reports of an overturned car.

The black Land Rover had been travelling towards London when it flipped over and ended up on its roof.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital. No other vehicle was involved and nobody else was injured in the incident.

Lanes two and three were closed whilst the vehicle was recovered. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
