A MAN driving a black Citroen was taken by air ambulance to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries after a two-car crash.

The collision occurred at the junction of the A252 and the A28 at Bagham Corner, Chilham, near Ashford, at around 2pm on Wednesday.

A female driver in the other car, a Renault Megan, was also taken to Ashford's William Harvey Hospital with minor injuries along with one of two children in her vehicle.

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jeff Potter on 07870 252446.
