FareShare charity operating in Kent collects tonnes of food waste

Enough food for more than 600 million meals is wasted every year according to food charity FareShare.

Last year the charity, which has an office in Ashford, collected more than 13,500 tonnes of surplus food which went to feed hungry families across the UK.

We asked shoppers in Rochester if they think we're too wasteful in this country.
