In Ryman League Premier Division Folkestone Invicta suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Margate, who climbed to eighth in the table.

Peter Williams put the hosts ahead inside two minutes at the Buzzlines Stadium but Shaun Welford replied after 15 minutes and Curtis Robinson scored what proved to be the winner in the final minute of the first half.

The win took Gate up to eighth in the table, their highest league placing since the 2007/08 season.

Tonbridge Angels are fifth from bottom after suffering a nightmare 4-0 defeat at home to Cray Wanderers.

After a goalless first half red-hot marksman Laurent Hamici netted a hat-trick as the Wands leapt up to 14th in the table.

Hamici has already scored nine league goals - including two hat-tricks - and 10 in his last seven games in all competitions.

Faversham Town suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Dulwich Hamlet in Ryman League Division 1 South.

Danny Hunt slotted the hosts ahead on 16 minutes but the visitors were level eight minutes later and stole the points in the final minute of the first-half, capitalising on some hesitant defending.

The Lilywhites are now down to 13th after their bright start to their first campaign at this level.

Whitstable Town fell to third-bottom after drawing 2-2 at Chipstead.

Dave Soutan and Ian Pulman gave Town the best possible start, putting them 2-0 up inside 15 minutes, but the hosts fought back to secure a share of the points before half-time.
