Men arrested on suspicion of egg-chucking

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of being drive-by egg throwers today.

Pedestrians were pelted in Maidstone in the early hours of the morning from the window of a passing car.

One 33-year-old male victim reported eggs being thrown from a vehicle driving along Rocky Hill.

The egg hit the victim’s jacket causing a mess but no injury.

Town Centre CCTV picked up a vehicle matching the man's description and tracked it until police could safely stop it.

An empty egg box was found inside.

A 19-year-old man and two other 20-year-old men were arrested and bailed.
