Organisers of a bonfire display in Kent have revealed which celebrity they will be sending up in flames this year.

A 30ft effigy of footballer Mario Balotelli is being put on top of the bonfire in Edenbridge this evening.

Edenbridge Bonfire Society, which organises the annual event, has set fire to a number of big names on previous Guy Fawkes Nights, with Wayne Rooney, Jonathan Ross and Katie Price among those to have gone up in smoke.

Manchester City striker Balotelli's house recently caught fire after a firework went off in his bathroom.

The 21-year-old Italian has since agreed to front a fireworks safety campaign in the Manchester area.
