Man's face cut

A man was cut on the face and leg after disturbing a man who he believed was trying to steal a horse.

The 52-year-old victim was cut twice by a sharp instrument during the incident at his home in Smarden Road, Headcorn.

The incident happened at around 9.15pm on Wednesday, November 26, but details have only just emerged.

After the assault the offender got into a parked car and drove off, as did a waiting flat-bed tipper lorry which had a horse box attached to the rear, believed to be made by Ifor Williams.
