Man dies after danger road crash

AN ELDERLY man died after the car he was travelling in crashed on a notoriously dangerous rural road.

The accident happened in Seven Mile Lane, near the A20 at Wrotham, at about 2.45pm yesterday.

Two men from Dartford travelling in a blue Morris Minor were taken to Maidstone Hospital, where the 76-year-old passenger died from his injuries.

The driver remains in hospital. His condition is not yet known.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident and the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
