Man cut free after crash

A man had to be cut free from his car after it crashed into a wall.

The accident happened at Boys Hall Road, Willesborough, just before 6pm on Tuesday.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “This was a difficult extraction and the victim was trapped for at least half an hour.”

The driver, in a Peugeot 106, suffered cuts to the face and nose and his male passenger had a broken leg.

Kent Air Ambulance attended and the crew treated both patients. Both casualties were taken to William Harvey Hospital.

Boys Hall Road was closed between Church Road and Crowbridge Road for two hours.
