Man charged after Maidstone stabbing

A man has been charged after a stabbing in Maidstone.

Police were called on Sunday at around 10.35pm after a 35-year-old man was stabbed in a disturbance in Week Street.

He was taken to hsopital were serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Jamie Hall, 39, of Fairmeadow in Maidstone, has been charged with attempted robbery, grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and common assault.

He has been remanded in prison and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for his next hearing.
