Man arrested in Danny King murder hunt

Detectives investigating the murder of Danny King in Ditton last year have arrested a man in Sunderland.

Officers arrested the 41-year-old man on Thursday morning. He was questioned by Kent Police officers about an incident in 2006 during which a shot was fired through the window of Mr King's home. He has now been released on police bail.

Mr King, 51, was shot and killed in his home in Medina Road, Ditton, at around 3am on the morning of Friday, October 17 2008. Mr King had been shot four times.

Officers continue to investigate the two incidents to establish if there are any links.
