11.07pm - Croatia have edged past Tunisia 25-23 in a really storming game. Not the last handball game I'll be watching.

I'll goodnight for now, tomorrow is another whopper. We could see Jack Green in the 4x400m relay tomorrow morning and we will definitely see Ashley Jackson trying to make the Olympic hockey Final against Netherlands in the evening.

Please do join me in the morning!

10.42pm - Unfortunately GB's hockey women have lost their semi-final against Argentina 2-1 this evening and will now face New Zealand for Bronze.

10.39pm - Favourites Croatia have pulled ahead 18-15 against the underdog Tunisians 11 minutes into the second half, but the Africans are not going quietly.

10pm - No Kent involvement, not even British involvement, but I'm at one of the sporting spectacles of the Games - handball.

Yes, Croatia v Tunisia in the men's QF. It is absolutely MENTAL. Very physical, so quick, so loud in the basketball arena.

9.12pm - Bolt won in 20.18 by the way. Not bad for a bloke looking like he was out for a stroll on a shingle beach, wearing flippers and ankle weights.

9.10pm - I defy anyone not to love Lisa Dobriskey.

Click here to read a lovely, lovely story.

8.09pm - Lisa is chuffed to bits and says she can now enjoy the dream of being on the start line for the Olympic Final on Friday night.

Meanwhile Yohan Blake wins the opening heat of the 200m in 20.01. He actually stopped and stepped over the line. Incredible. In the end Spearmon was 0.01 back and Lemaitre another 0.01 back in third.

Bolt next.

7.50PM -LISA D IS THROUGH IN FOURTH PLACE IN 4.05.35

7.44pm - Here we go. First five through.

7.32pm - Dobriskey is a little over 10 minutes away.

We've just seen Lawrence Clarke of GB make the 110m hurdles final later tonight as a fastest loser.

7.05pm - Just 40 minutes until Dobriskey is off.

Bolt runs in the second of three 200m semi-finals at 8.18pm.

Meanwhile we've just had the unusual sight of five men on the podium, GB high-jumper Robbie Grabarz sharing bronze with two other competitors and all squeezing onto the one step of the podium.

6.45pm - This is a really enjoyable night in the stadium already. Great weather, really chilled out vibe. The music is all Bob Marley, Finlay Quaye, relaxed and mellow.

Not an empty seat in the house either. Great times.

Right, Lisa needs to finish in the top five of her semi-final to make it through to Friday's final.

She's run the fourth fastest time of anyone in the field this year, but this is the Olympics, and anything can happen.

There are also two spots for fastest losers in the 12-strong field for the final, but I really don't want to contemplate that, thanks.

There's someone else you'll have heard of on the bill tonight.... a chap from Jamaica, a chap from Jamaica that runs fast. A chap from Jamaica that runs fast named Usain Bolt.

6pm - Evening. I'm at the Olympic Stadium to see Lisa Dobriskey.

Very busy afternoon, lots of paperwork... by that I mean work for the papers, so sorry it's been a bit quiet on here and twitter.

Anyway, Lisa goes in the first fo two 1,500m semi-finals which is due to start at 7.45pm.

Set your watches now! I'll be back later to tell you what we need!

12.10pm - GB's Mo Farah cruised through to the 5k final at the Olympic Stadium this morning, just fyi. He's aiming for a VERY special double.

I'm off to try and track down an Olympian for a luncheon! Fast living. Back later from an as yet undetermined location.

11.35am - Well that was disappointing. Japan secured a 2-1 win with a controversial penalty stroke in the second half of golden goal extra-time.

Jen has played at three Olympics but she told me afterwards that she will not make it four in Rio.

Click here to read her reaction.

9.56am - Full-time. That means two seven-minute halves of extra-time. Golden Goal no-less.

Check my twitter for the result, I have to log off and prepare to leg it downstairs at literally any second.

9.48am - It's been coming, and it's 1-1 from a Japanese penalty corner. Six minutes to go here.

9.41am - Japan are all over SA here. Penalty corners and shots scrambled off the line and other shots wide. SA need to hold firm.

9.25am - Eight minutes into the second half and it's still a pretty engaging game. Hoping the heavy grey sky does not mean I'm going to be rained-on again!

9.07am - Half-time and SA are half-way to a ninth-place finish. They are ranked 12th in the world, so even though they had high hopes coming in, it has to be seen as at least moderate success for Jen and the girls.

8.55am - Pretty decent game this. End to end. Penalty corners at both ends. But South Africa have taken the lead from one of them. Looked rehearsed with an extra pass making space for a low cross-shot which was turned in from close range. 1-0 SA with eight minutes until the break.

8.30am - Morning from the Bank. I'm back again!

First up this morning we have Canterbury and South Africa forward Jen Wilson who is in action against Japan in the classification match to decide 9th/10th place.

It's Jen's third Olympics and could well be her last, so it's great to be here to see her in action.

Later today we have Lisa Dobriskey going in the 1,500m semi-finals at the Olympic Stadium at around 7.45pm, plus hopefully a host more GB medals to tell you about.

I'll update here all day and also provide live coverage on twitter - @kentonline2012
