1.50am - I suppose I'd better...

I really am off now. Night.

10.30pm - I'm signing off now. It's been one hell of an evening.

See you tomorrow for Ashley Jackson's bronze-medal match with Australia.

Night!

9.51pm - I am massively, massively deflated, don't know about you?

9.50pm - Jack Green says he feels like he let everyone down because he didn't run 0.1 or 0.2 quicker.

That is rubbish. He ran 44.80 for his 400m, which was actually about 420m as he had to go round so many bodies.

Story to come soon.

9.24pm - Green ran a storming second leg, taking GB from seventh to fifth.

Dai Greene gave it up again and Rooney finjished strong. Finishing fourth - less than a second out of bronze.

9.15pm - Lisa is absolutely 'gutted' to have been 10th but 'proud' to have made the Olympic Final.

"I wanted a medal," she said.

More quotes to come after the 4x400m with Jack Green which is just about to begin.

9.02pm - Lisa Dobriskey finished 10th in the 1,500m final. She was never really in it.

8.50pm - Right. This is where it gets tricky.

Lisa is about to run. I'll update the result here, but Jack goes in half-an-hour so might not be able to update here live.

8.42pm - Nothing to get a crowd going like a world record being SMASHED and the USA's 4x100m women just took HALF A SECOND of the previous best. Jamaica were left for dead.

8.38pm - Well Steve Lewis has restored the buzz with a huge pole vault clearance and the mexican waves are rolling around the OS.

Must mean people are over it, even if I'm not.

Just over 15mins til Dobriskey runs!

8.12pm - GB were disqualified from the race after a handover infraction between Talbot and Gemili.

Lisa Dobriskey will run in the 1,500m final in less than 40mins.

7.46pm - GB through in second. Slight error with the handover to Adam and it's being looked at.

Adam looks like it might be bad news.

7.42pm - First three in the heat go straight through to tomorrow's final, with two fastest losers also making it.

Just get it round lads.

7.25pm - Buzzing in here already with GB pole vaulter Steve Lewis going over 5.50m already and the 4x400m women cruising through their heat in third.

7.10pm - Gemili will have to wait for a crack at Bolt. The Jamaican is not in the 4x100m team for the heats, though Yohan Blake does run.

6.48pm - Have to say there's been a mixed reaction to the news that Jack Green will move to the second leg of the 4x400m later.

Williams-Green-Greene-Rooney is the order, but following Green's barnstorming 44.42 yesterday many people expected him to keep third and possibly even take over as anchor.

6.40pm - Gemili has been confirmed as the anchor in the GB team for the 4x100m.

Team is Christian Malcolm, Dwain Chambers, Danny Talbot and.... he needs a nickname.... the Dartford Destroyer?

They are drawn in lane two, the inside lane. That isn't great, but hopefully they have practiced that!

6.20pm - I'll drop some relay knowledge on you throughout the evening, shall I?

How about this for a scary stat: Great Britain's 4x100m relay squad have been disqualified for faulty changeovers at three of the last four Olympic Games.

The other time, Athens 2004, they won gold. :)

6.05pm - Hello and welcome to the Olympic Stadium for what promises to be quite a night for GB and for some of Kent's own stars.

To be honest I've got butterflies in my tummy so Lord knows how they're feeling out on the warming track or in the village right now!

Reminder that Adam Gemili will hopefully be in the 4x100m relay team which goes in the first heat at 7.45pm while Lisa Dobriskey's 1,500m final is due-off at 8.55pm.

Jack Green then runs the second leg of the 4x400m relay final at 9.20pm.

4.45pm - Boxer Anthony Ogogo added a bronze to the pile earlier this afternoon and the GB women's hockey team look like doing likewise as they lead New Zealand 3-0 in their 3rd/4th play-off.

Meanwhile Jack Green has been confirmed in the 4x400m relay team for tonight's Olympic Final, however he will run the second leg, as opposed to the third which he ran so well yesterday.

Dai Greene comes in to that third spot with Nigel Levine dropping out and Conrad Williams leading-off. Martyn Rooney remains anchor.

1.45pm - Medal rush continues for GB, two silvers at Weymouth this morning.

Stuart Bithell and Luke Patience were second to Australia in the men's 470 class while the 470 women Saskia Clarke and Hannah Mills lost out to New Zealand in their competition.

Still waiting to find out the relay teams for tonight's athletics session. When I know, you'll know!

11.30am - I don't usually do this here, but I think today is a very important day for the prospect of an Olympic legacy in Kent.

Click here to read my blog from the Games, with a very important message at the end.

It's another incredibly hot day in the Park, so just a word of warning if you're coming here... sun screen and water bottles. Loads of both. Okay!?

8.30am - Morning. Today this could be, the greatest day of our lives.

No I'm not channelling Gary Barlow, I'm getting excited because I get to look forward to a triple-decker-sandwich of Kent Olympians tonight, hopefully with a side order of medals.

In one crazy 90-minute spell we should see Adam Gemili (pictured) go in the 4x100m relay heats, then Lisa Dobriskey in the final of the 1,500m and then Jack Green in the 4x400m final.

It's going to be a busy night for me, but you can put your feet up at the end of the working week and revel in a bit of Kent pride. It could be very special.

I'll be back later to let you know everything you need to know about the races, and also keep you up to date with any GB medals.
