Kushal Limbu has hopes of reaching the London 2012 Paralympics

Paralympic hopeful Kushal Limbu confirmed he is in the form of his life after running two personal bests in the 60m sprint at Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old Ashford AC member from Folkestone ran an impressive 8.18secs to knock more than two tenths of a second off his previous best.

Kushal opens his 2012 outdoor season on Sunday in the venue he hopes to finish – the Olympic Stadium – for a charity 100m race and follows it with three key international Paralympic Committee-endorsed competitions in which he hopes to run the Paralympic qualifying for both the 100m and 200m sprints.

Coach Pete Le Rossignol said: "Kushal’s 60m personal best shows he is on course to run the qualifying times to compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. His hard work and commitment to training is really paying off."
