A MODEL from Kent has been plunged into the limelight after becoming Big Brother's golden housemate.

Suzie Verrico, 43, a model from West Malling, entered the reality TV show on Friday after finding a golden ticket in a Kit Kat chocolate bar.

Mrs Verrico, who moved to the county recently from Chelsea, London, was chosen from 34 golden ticket winners and was picked at random by housemate Aisleyne in a live lottery draw in the garden.

Mrs Verrico's husband spent £4,000 buying his wife Kit Kats in the hope she would find a golden ticket - she is a a self-confessed Big Brother addict who hopes to bring some glamour to the show.

However, things got tough for her after she was forced, as the golden housemate, to pick two fellow contestants for eviction this week.

Grace and Nikki will now face the public vote this Friday.
