Kent woman arrested in connection with death of Robyn Mercer in West Molesey, Surrey

A Kent woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a mother of two.

The 24-year-old was taken into custody this morning on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The arrest is part of a murder investigation launched after the body of 50-year-old Robyn Mercer was found outside a house in West Molesey, Surrey, in March.

Inspector Paddy Mayers said: "Today’s activity is being carried out to establish if there is any new evidence which could help to identify those who committed the brutal attack on Robyn.

"We will continue to pursue all potential leads and will relentlessly carry on until those responsible are behind bars."

Five others remain on bail in relation to the Operation Zebu murder investigation.
