Sittingbourne lifted the Kent Senior Cup for the first time in over half a century on Tuesday night.

Goals from Colin Richmond, Hicham Akhazzan and Tom Bradbrook earned the Brickies the trophy with a 3-1 win over Folkestone Invicta - 52 years after last winning the competition.

Recently-promoted Folkestone took the lead on home soil, with a goal from Jimmy Jackson during first half injury time but the Brickies, managed by Gary Abbott (pictured), replied with a trio of goals after the break.

Richmond scored Sittingbourne’s first with a header just after the hour mark and on 72 minutes Akhazzan put them ahead. Bradbrook’s injury time third sealed the win.
