Greg Bain hit a superb 121 but Bexley had to settle for a losing draw in a pulsating finish in a run-fest at home to Hartley CC.

The visitors amassed 301-7 thanks to 93 from Charlie Hemphrey and 50s from James Hockley and James Thompson before Bain steered the hosts towards their target with the help of Adam Ball (57) and Sandeep Bains (61).

In the end Min Patel was run-out attempting a tying run from the final ball of the game as the hosts finished on 300-7.

Matt Greenwood's fine unbeaten 79 helped Lordswood to a nine-wicket home win over The Mote.

Thomas Harvey's 39 (pictured) was the sole high-point for the Maidstone side as they were dismissed for 143, with Dan Masters claiming 3-29, before Greenwood steered his side home for the loss of one wicket in 21 overs.

Ben Fulton's unbeaten 80 was in vain for Bickley Park as they went down by 36 runs at home to Bromley to remain winless.

Matthew Dennington cracked 59 for the visitors as they amassed 236-9, but despite Fulton's knock and Richard Clinton's 57 the hosts were dismissed for 200, with Thomas Mees grabbing 4-41.

James Hands made light work of the Sevenoaks Vine tail to help early-leaders Blackheath record a 107-run win at The Vine.

Paul Valkovics top-scored with 41 not out at Heath made 232-9, but the hosts were always struggling in reply and Hands took 3-9 late-on to dismiss their hosts for 125.
