Welling skipper Jack Parkinson has rubbished rumours of dressing room discontent at Park View Road.

The Wings are still under a transfer embargo but Parkinson insisted that they are a happy camp, despite the club's well-documented off-field problems following an unpaid tax bill.

“To be fair to the lads, we’ve got a great group, and the management team have been brilliant,” said Parkinson.

"They’ve kept us up to date throughout. We’ve looked at it and as long as we’re kept up to date with what’s going on then hopefully whatever happens off the pitch will sort itself out.

“There’s no discontent whatsoever. The big thing with us was being kept in the loop.

“If it gets to the point where things are not sorted then you have to have a word but at the moment we’re happy enough and have to make sure we’re doing it on the pitch.”

Welling host rivals Dover in Blue Square Bet South this Saturday at Park View Road.
