An armed gunman is being sought by police after he robbed a post office in St Mary's Bay on Romney Marsh.
It happened this afternoon at the Teelin Close Post Office just after 1pm.
The man, described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, slim build and wearing an orange motorcycle helmet and dark trousers, sped off on a motorbike down Jefferson Lane.
It is believed he left the scene as a pillion passenger on a motocross motorcycle that was parked outside the picture shop.
He had entered the post office demanding money and injuring an elderly man after pushing him to the floor. No shots were fired before the man fled with an unknown amount of cash.
