Housebuilder Ward Homes exceeds its targets

Ward Homes is celebrating after enjoying remarkable sales success in the last year, showing that demand for new homes in the county remains strong despite the mixed national picture.

The Kent-based housebuilder completed 522 properties worth over £77 million in the financial year ending on June 30 exceeding its own internal targets.
The outcome provides good evidence that there are signs of life in the county's housing market.

"We have a strong reputation for building high quality homes in great locations throughout the region, which has enabled us to perform very well despite the tough economic backdrop," said Nick Fenton, managing director for Ward Homes.

"Now is a good time to buy because prices and mortgage rates are significantly lower than they were two years ago.

"What gives us the edge over other people selling homes is that we can provide customers with innovative financial incentives which enable them to get a mortgage – the key issue for anyone buying today."
