Hospital underachieving

BEXLEY'S hospitals have been shown to be underachieving in the latest report for the Healthcare Commission.

Queen Mary's Sidcup NHS Trust has been rated 'weak' for its use of resources and 'fair' for its quality of service.

The quality of service was deemed to have deteriorated since last year's annual health check where it was rated as 'good'.

This is the second year that the hospital has received the lowest rating for its use of resources.
