Homes needed for kittens and cats

SEVENTEEN feral cats and kittens living and breeding in the wild have been taken in by an animal shelter.

Staff at the RSPCA animal centre at Leybourne, near West Malling, has been trying to find them homes since they were found living rough on a plot of land in Essex.

The land owner had been allowing them to breed before selling them on to pet shops, but later contacted the RSPCA’s South East mobile cat neutering clinic.

Potential owners should have either a barn or outhouse where the cats can continue to live outside and receive proper care and attention.

If you are interested in offering a home to a pair of cats call the animal centre on 01732 847237.
