Ward Homes is poised to unveil its latest development - Victoria Park in Dartford.

Within the grounds of the listed historic building of the former Stone House Hospital, the development, is made up of 16 homes.

They range from one and two-bedroom flats to three and four-bedroom family houses.

Specialist developers the PJ Livesey Group is also working at the development, converting the original Stone House Hospital building into homes.

Designed by leading architects, DHA Architecture, Victoria Park has been carefully devised to provide a collection of modern homes that cleverly complement their historical setting.

The architecture will incorporate strong contemporary lines, with traditional features such as dormer windows and porticos given a fresh treatment that is bang-up-to-date.

However, the connection with the development's traditional setting will be maintained through the use of time-honoured materials such as sandstone brick, slate tiling and wood cladding.

Nick Fenton, managing director for Ward Homes, says: "Victoria Park has been years in the planning and we are extremely proud of the scheme. Demand for quality houses in this area is high and as a result we expect strong interest."

Prices start from £149,995 for a one-bedroom flat and £249,995 for a three bedroom house.
