The next phase of building at Imperial Green, the residential development in the grounds of the Hythe Imperial Hotel, is set to get under way.

With four of the first 12 family homes occupied, and a further two reserved, GSE Group, the company behind the development, is to start work on seven apartments, eight houses and eight two-bedroom apartments for Moat Housing.

Company chairman Darrell Healey said: “The feedback from the families who have moved in over the last couple of months has been very positive and reinforces our belief we have built homes that will appeal to a family market. We continue to see a strong level of inquiries and viewings from prospective purchasers

“With two properties recently reserved, we have now given the green light for the next phase of construction.”

The remaining properties at Imperial Green, each within easy walking distance of the beach, include three-bedroom semi-detached, four-bedroom detached units and two-bedroom apartments.
