kmfm and Bargain Hunter UK team up again for Christmas campaign Give a Gift toy appeal

Kent’s radio station kmfm and Bargain Hunter UK have announced the return of their Christmas appeal.

The Give a Gift campaign aims to deliver as many toys to children who are in hospital over the festive period, care facilities, and those less fortunate than others who might not receive a present under the tree.

Last year’s appeal was a huge success, with more than 10,500 gifts and toys were collected, sorted into categories and delivered to almost 30 places across Kent by the kmfm street team and founder of Bargain Hunter UK, Peter Nix.

Among those to receive some of the donations were the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Kent Wish Foundation, QEQM, Darent Valley Hospital, William Harvey Hospital, Imago and HomeStart.

Peter said: “It is an exciting end to another fantastic year at Bargain Hunter UK; being able to team up with the county’s most loved radio station to try and beat last year’s toy collection is something I have been looking forward to for months.

“The difference this toy appeal made to thousands of children across Kent last year was truly incredible to see and I cannot wait to do it all again.”

Andy Walker, from kmfm daytime, added: “We cannot wait to dust off our bobble hats and grab our Santa sacks to do it all over again, and with the support of our incredible listeners, we know kmfm’s Give A Gift is going to be even bigger and better this year.”

You will hear and see the appeal on kmfm, in KM newspapers, on KentOnline and the Bargain Hunter UK website and app, giving simple ways you can get involved and support our drive.

There are three ways to get involved this year. Either buy a gift from the Bargain Hunter UK app or website for delivery, buy a gift online and have it delivered or buy a gift and deliver it to the kmfm studios.
