Gillingham striker Mark McCammon has gone on the transfer list.

McCammon's name has been circulated to all League 1 clubs.

Gills boss Mark Stimson said: "Now there are players coming in there will be players unhappy who will want to go out. Mark McCammon is one.

"I’ve had a chat with him and we’ve circulated Mark’s name. He stated that he only wants to play in Division 1 so that limits a lot of clubs.

"We’ve tried that and circulated his name to a lot of clubs and fingers crossed we might get a response in the week. If we don’t we might have to address it, sit down with Mark and maybe try something else. At the end of the day the players have the right to say I don’t want to go."

The transfer window remains open for another week and so far there have still been no offers for Simeon Jackson.

Keeper Alan Julian, meanwhile, is also still on the transfer list and there have so far been no enquiries.
