Gillingham's Coca-Cola League 1 match at home to Tranmere on Saturday has been postponed.

Local official Ian Cooper decided to call the fixture off after an inspection at a snow-bound Priestfield at midday on Thursday.

Heavy snow had covered the Pristfield pitch and with more wintry weather forecast and the streets around the ground likely to be treacherous, the decision was taken to postpone the fixture.
