Gillingham will host Scunthorpe United in the First Round of the FA Cup after the draw on Sunday lunchtime.

The nPower League 2 leaders will host the League 1 strugglers at Priestfield on November 3 or 4, with a place in the Second Round at stake.

The three other Kent sides left in the competition also discovered their fate.

Ebbsfleet United, of Blue Square Bet Premier, face a long trip to Carlisle United, who are 17th in League 1.

Blue Square Bet South side Bromley also face an epic trip to the north west to face Fleetwood Town, who lie third in League 2.

Blue Square Bet Premier side Dartford will host Port Vale, second in League 2, just as they did two years ago, if the Darts can overcome Forest Green in their Fourth Qualifying Round replay.

Tony Burman's side drew 1-1 in the west country on Saturday and face a replay at Princes Park, while Ebbsfleet were 1-0 winners at Woking and Bromley won by the same scoreline at home to Worcester City.

Welling United missed out on the chance to join them in the hat with a 3-1 defeat against Bishop's Stortford - who received a home draw against Hastings.

Among the big-guns entering the competition at this stage were former winners Coventry City and Portsmouth.

First Round winners receive £18,000 in prize money.
