Gillingham reserves tackle Crawley Town’s second string on Wednesday afternoon in the Combination League.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler is likely to name a similar team to the one which beat Wycombe reserves last week 3-1 at Priestfield.

First team players Josh Gowling, Mark McCammon, Connor Essam and Lance Cronin are all expected to feature.

First team coach Nicky Southall could also play some part.

Stefan Payne (pictured), meanwhile, will be hoping to continue his good form in front of goal.

The young striker has scored five goals in four reserve outings this season as he presses for more first team involvement.

The match kicks off at 2pm and season ticket holders can watch for free.

Standard admission charge is £3 and £1 for concessions.
