Gillingham boss Mark Stimson has named eight senior pros to face QPR in Wednesday's Combination League outing at Priestfield.

Stimson's second string were soundly beaten last time out by non-league outfit Crawley and he'll be hoping for a better showing this time around as they face Championship side QPR.

Goalkeeper Simon Royce (pictured) will start against a club where he made 84 appearances during two spells between 2002 and 2007.

Also included in the line-up is Mark Bentley, who takes the captain's arm band, James Walker, Kevin Maher and Jack Payne.

Triallist Kieren Joseph starts up-front for the Gills.

The game kicks off at 2pm. Season ticket holders can watch for free, while adult entrance is £3 and £1 for concessions.

Match report to follow...

Gills: Royce, Payne, Palmer, Davies, Wynter, Fisher, Bentley, Maher, Walker, Yussuff, Joseph. Subs: Hawkes, Brunt, Evans, Cumbers, Benniman.
