A reserve match has been planned for Tuesday to give some of Gillingham’s returning players a much-needed test.

The Gills are due to face a Wycombe Wanderers XI at Priestfield behind closed doors.

Defensive pair Andy Frampton (pictured) and Matt Fish are both are on the verge of a return so could feature, along with Jordan Obita who missed the Crewe game on Saturday through tonsillitis.

Gills skipper Frampton has been out for over a month with a knee injury while Fish last appeared on Boxing Day.

"We do need a game just to get some of their legs going again," said Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler.
