Gillingham have been drawn at home against Middlesbrough in the Second Round of the Capital One Cup.

Goals from Danny Kedwell and Ben Strevens secured the Gills' path into the second round with a 2-1 victory at Bristol City's Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.

The draw for the second round was made live on Sky Sports News on Wednesday lunchtime and handed the Championship side a long trip south to Priestfield on Tuesday, August 28th or Wednesday, August 29th.

The only clubs exempt from the Second Round draw were the seven Premier League teams in European competitions.
