The performances of free transfers Myles Weston and Adam Barrett have left Gills boss Martin Allen in fear.

Allen jokingly suggested he could be getting an unwanted visit. He said: "Do you know what I am worried about? I am worried that the police are going to arrest me. Someone is going to find me guilty of a fraud.

"To get Myles Weston (pictured) on a free transfer and Adam Barrett on a free transfer – oh my God!

"Every time I hear a siren in the street I have to keep checking it’s not the police coming to get me. How can you get two players like that on free transfers?

"Mr Scally must be so happy. They are worth millions aren’t they? The pair of them."
