Gillingham and Charlton drawn away in Kent Senior Cup second round

Gillingham and Charlton could meet in the final of the Kent Senior Cup after the draw was announced on Wednesday.

Andy Hessenthaler's (pictured) Gills will travel to Welling in the second round while Charlton have been drawn away to Bromley, both games are due to be played by November 30.

Thereafter both sides are in opposite sides of the draw with all potential fixtures away from home.

It will be the third visit to Park View Road for Gillingham this season as they have already beaten both Welling and Erith & Belvedere in pre-season friendlies.

Holders Dartford travel to Faversham or Folkestone in the second round while Kent Senior Trophy winners Erith Town were handed a second round trip to Hythe.

Kent Senior Cup draw : First round (by September 30): Sittingbourne v Whitstable, Faversham v Folkestone, Margate v Cray, Thamesmead v Tonbridge.

Second round (by November 30): Ebbsfleet v Chatham, Bromley v Charlton, Faversham or Folkestone v Dartford, Margate or Cray v Ramsgate, Thamesmead or Tonbridge v Sititngbourne or Whitstable, Maidstone v Dover, Welling v Gillingham, Hythe v Erith Town.
