An investigation is under way after more than 50 firefighters tackled a massive blaze near Tonbridge.

Crews were called to the farm building in Horsmonden at just before 7.30pm yesterday.

The building in Brick Kiln Lane contained wood, vehicles and potentially dangerous gas cylinders.

Kent Police closed the road as a precaution while firefighters cooled the acetylene cylinders.

At the height of the blaze, eight fire crews, a water unit and several support units were at the scene.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was scaled down by about 10pm.

Around 15 firefighters remained at the scene this morning and an exclusion zone remained in place.

An investigation into the cause of the fire began this morning.

No one is reported to have been hurt in the blaze.
