A 38-year-old man has been banned from entering parts of a Kent town where he lives.

Lee Johnson was give the anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) by Medway magistrates.

Johnson was previously given an interim Asbo on August 1 last year. This has now been turned into a full order.

Johnson, of Victoria Street, Gillingham, must now abide by six conditions outlined in the Asbo.

Under these terms he must not: enter designated parts of Gillingham High Street until June 2008; act in a way that is likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress to others in the Medway Council-run area; use or threaten to use violence to any person; act in a manner or use language which is likely to be threatening, abusive or insulting to any person; swear in public; approach, directly or indirectly, any witnesses or their families who will be giving evidence in court.
