Four men have been charged following an assault which left a teenager in a critical condition.

The 18-year-old boy suffered severe head injuries following the incident in the early hours of Christmas Day last year. The alleged attack took place in the car park of Aldi supermarket in Duncan Road, Gillingham, at about 2.40am.

Benjamin Larkin, 18, of Leeds Square, Twydall, Joseph Potter, 20, of Leeds Square, Twydall, Gary Davis, 20, of Allington Road, Gillingham and Jonathan Moley, 20, of Beechings Way, Gillingham, have all been charged with causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the assault. They appeared before Medway magistrates on Friday and were remanded in custody.

They will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, March 20.

Medway Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist with its investigation.
