Adam Miller has joined Blue Square Bet Premier Division side Cambridge United.

The 28-year old midfielder (pictured), released by Gillingham, has signed a three-year deal with the Abbey Stadium club.

Speaking on the Cambridge United website, Miller said: "I believe I should still be a league player, but have done the business at this level before and am confident I’ll do the same again."

Miller moved to Priestfield from Stevenage, initially on loan in November 2007, before making the move permanent two months later.

He fell out with former boss Mark Stimson midway through last season and looked to have played his final game for the club, spending three months on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge, but returned in February, winning a regular place in the side.

He made a total of 97 appearances for the Gills, scoring 13 goals.
