Ooh La La! These members of a social group certainly got into the spirit of all things French at a themed morning.

More than 40 people from the Sheppey Senior Fellowship attended a French themed morning at Sheppey Rugby Club in Minster last Wednesday.

The event was put on for members of the fellowship to enjoy as they didn’t get round to having a Christmas party last year.

There was an hour of French music, which was arranged by organ-playing member Audrey Steadman, and her husband Ron took care of the art-work.

He designed a Cafe de Paris where members could enjoy some cheese and wine.

Glennis Powell, secretary of the fellowship, said: “We did have some fun.

“Things were really swinging and quite a few members managed to dress up – it was great.

“Audrey and Ron deserve and mention and a thank you for all their hard work.”
