Fazakerly on target in Lillywhites win

Havant & Waterlooville 0 Bromley 1

Bromley recorded their first win of the Blue Square South season on Saturday with a battling 1-0 win at Havant & Waterlooville.

The Lillywhites started brightly and were almost ahead in the first minute - but Anthony Joseph's header from Loui Fazakerly's cross came back off the underside of the bar.

However, the visitors did score what proved to be the only goal of the game on 17 minutes when Fazakerly scored direct from a free kick just as he did during the opening day defeat to Maidenhead.

The home side came on strong after the break and Bromley had keeper Gareth Williams to thank for three fine saves in the closing stages.
