Broadstairs is to host a new annual event promoting local food and produce. Organisers of the week-long Broadstairs Food Festival, which runs from Monday, September 28, until Sunday, October 4, are confident the event will prove popular with residents and visitors.

They are planning to incorporate the Broadstairs Food Fayre, which will be held in the Victoria Parade area on the final three days of the festival.
