Faulty wiring blamed for shed blaze

FAULTY wiring for a shed stored model train set has been blamed for an early morning blaze.

Fire fighters were called to Walsingham Close, Parkwood shortly after midnight yesterday after reports of a shed alight.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, said:“There appeared to be a model train set in the shed and a work shop and we believe the fire started due to an electrical fault.

“If you’re doing any work in your home we strongly advise that you get a qualified electrician in to do the necessary work and don’t attempt to do it yourself.”
