A coroner has ruled that the death of father Danny King was an "unlawful killing".

An inquest was held on Wednesday into the shooting of the father-of-four at his home in Medina Road, Ditton.

The 51-year-old was shot four times on October 17, as three of his grandchildren slept nearby.

Kent Police were called to the house at 3am and discovered Mr King’s injured body.

No one has yet been arrested in connection with Mr King’s death and a murder investigation is still ongoing.
