Fatal motorway smash witnesses 'on CCTV'

Police want to speak to two drivers who may have seen a crash which left a woman dead and three people seriously injured.

The incident happened at around 4pm on Friday, April 16, on the Essex-bound M25 between junctions 3 and 2 at Sutton at Hone.

Officers said CCTV footage shows two "vehicles of interest to the investigation".

According to a police spokesman the red and white box van and silver Land Rover Freelander either stopped immediately after the collision or were close to it.

The incident involved a British-registered articulated lorry that was in a collision with six stationary vehicles.

The vehicles were queuing in the slip lane for the A2 exit at junction 2 at the time.
