Family's tribute to tragic motorcyclist

The family of Ramsgate motorcyclist Trevor Fennell, who died following a road accident in Folkestone on Sunday, have paid tribute to him.

In a statement issued via Kent police they said: “Trevor was very kind, thoughtful and caring of others and will be remembered for his bubbly personality and sense of humour. He was taken suddenly from us but remembered in our hearts for ever.”

“Trevor is sadly missed by his loving wife Sara, daughters Stephanie and Rebecca and their mum Karen; mum, dad and brothers Stephen, Grant and Jim and their families; Sara’s mum Marie, and Alex.

“Trevor worked for 26 years for Lloyds TSB at various branches in the east Kent area.

“He was most recently at Ramsgate where he worked as business banking manager. He will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.”

The 45-year-old suffered fatal injuries following a collision with a car on the Alkham Valley Road at around 10.30am.

The accident was at the spot where the road travels under the A20. The road was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene.
