Exhibition at library will mark Black History Month

THE work of Medway artist Pepe Kaur will be displayed in Gillingham Library next week.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday, October 17, to Tuesday, October 30, as part of events marking Black History Month.

The official opening, which is free to attend, will be at 3.30pm on the opening day. All are welcome.

A children's colouring competition also runs from until Friday, October 12. Gillingham MP Paul Clark will present prizes to the winners.

Gillingham Library is located in High Street, Gillingham. It is free to view Pepe Kaur's work.

The library is open from 9am to 7pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10am to 7pm on Tuesday. On Saturday the library opens at 9am and closes at 5pm.
