Driver hurt in violent road rage attack

A car driver and his passenger were attacked by two men who smashed a window of their car to get at them in what police believe was a terrifying road rage incident.

The 32-year-old driver needed hospital treatment to injuries to his face after the violence in Muir Road, Ramsgate.

The incident happened at about 7.15pm last Monday (November 24), although details have only just been released.

Did you see what happened?Police are now appealing to the public for help to catch the attackers.

The victims were in a silver Nissan Micra and their attackers a black Mercedes.

The Mercedes driver was said to be white, aged between 25 and 29, and wearing a dark jacket.

His passenger was also white, slightly younger, wearing a light blue hooded top and dark coat.

They made off in the Merecedes towards Hereson Road.
