Driver hurt in bridge crash

A MOTORIST was taken to hospital in Tunbridge Wells with a suspected fractured arm today after his car struck a railway bridge.

His red Ford Granada partially came off the road onto the railway embankment at Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, near Tonbridge.

No other vehicles were involved but the railway authorities have been advised about the incident by police.

The accident happened early this morning. The driver has not been named.
